The sander is an extremely important machine in our work. It is therefore essential to use them properly and to maintain them, since in addition to their importance, their price is also a determining factor - they represent a significant cost even in the case of lower-end machines.
Opening and closing
Most of the time, the hand unit is opened by twisting the middle part, when the hand unit opens, we can pull out the previous sanding head and insert the new one. It is important to push the head in as far as it will go, then pull it back 1-2 mm, so it won't rub inside, which reduces the chance of heating up, and won't damage the machine's internal components at all.
Turn
When using the sander, it is very important to set the speed according to the exact function for which the machine is being used. We usually use a lower speed for preparation, a medium speed for sanding gel polish, and a high speed for shortening artificial nails, removing gel or porcelain.
It is worth making sure that when you have finished working with the head, you should not only turn the speed control down to 0, but also switch off the machine, as a machine that is constantly on can reduce the life of the machine over time, or even lead to an accident.
Change of direction
It is often necessary to change the grinding direction. In such cases, always switch off the machine and wait until the head stops rotating, then just change the direction of rotation. Changing direction while driving can very easily burn out the machine's engine. There are already modern machines that automatically stop rotation when changing direction, thus preventing damage to the machine.
Burning feeling
In order to reduce or even avoid causing the guest an unpleasant, burning sensation during polishing, never polish the head while holding it in one place. Always move it left and right, up and down on the surface of the nail, and do not press too hard on the surface. Gentle movement and light pressure greatly reduce the possibility of burning.
Completion of work
After finishing our work, remove the used sanding head and insert the empty chuck in its place, then close the chuck of the hand unit. It is very important to never close the handheld unit when it is empty, because it can deform and destroy the small parts that fix the head of the handheld unit.
Cleaning
Daily cleaning means removing dust from both the machine and the hand unit, either with a soft brush or a mild, mild detergent-moist cloth. Never use strong, aggressive chemicals, as they can corrode the surface.
Disassembly
We must be aware that grinding machines are complicated structures, and it is generally not advisable to disassemble them. With which we can certainly not cause any damage if we occasionally blow through the hand unit with a spray filled with compressed air and remove the dust accumulated inside the machine through the small holes visible on the cover. If a part of the machine's cover (usually the rear part) can be unscrewed, it can be done safely, and the embedded dust can also be carefully blown out here with the spray.
However, we must not go further than that. Never disassemble the machine, because the small parts in it, especially the small balls, can fall out of place, and there is a good chance that we will not be able to put it back in place, and then we will definitely have to take it to a service center.
So it is clear that by paying attention to a few small things, we can protect our machine from premature damage, so that our sander can be our loyal companion for a long time. Would you like to try a new professional nail polisher? Choose our Nail Drill Touch or UFO Nail Drill products!
