Pixie crystal rhinestones - as their name implies - are a new generation of crystal rhinestones. They have inherited the gloss and shine, but their size is much smaller and their polishing is also finer. With the Pixie crystal rhinestones, you can create spectacular and extremely shiny surfaces in your nail decoration. You can even cover the surface of one nail with them, or just part of it, it depends on the pattern and your imagination, how and in what appearance you use these tiny, but all the more fantastic Pixie crystals.
How to use Pixie crystal rhinestones?
By following a few simple steps, you too can make your nail decoration shine.
- Create the desired nail shape.

Apply the desired base color that you may need. When choosing the base color, always take into account that the Pixie crystal rhinestones also have their own color, so you should not pair colors that are very different from each other! (An exception is #01 crystal Pixie, because it is transparent!)
- Apply a thin layer of clear building gel or removable light gel to the surface of the nail where you want to apply the Pixie crystal rhinestones. (Note that if you work with the transparent building gel, you can only remove it later with a sander or a file, while when using the removable light gel, you can remove your nail decoration at any time with the simpler method, the release liquid.)
Once you've applied the layer, DO NOT shine a light on it! Pixie crystal rhinestones cannot stick to the bound layer, so the still sticky texture is needed!
- Prepare a small clean bowl and the pixie crystal rhinestone jar of your choice nearby. Go one at a time and only place one finger over the bowl. Shake the jar with small movements, tilting it carefully so that as many Pixies as possible fall into the right place. Feel free to rotate your finger so that the Pixies fall on the entire surface of the nail or on all the places you want!
- When you are satisfied with the coverage of the Pixies, use the flat end of an orange stick or a clean flat brush to gently pat the Pixie grains into the gel. If necessary, you can sprinkle another dose where you still feel it is necessary.

After all the Pixies are in place and you have fixed them sufficiently, the lighting can come. Use your UV or LED lamp for the time according to the instructions so that the gels set completely!
- If still necessary, you can fix the finished surface with a gel fixer. Anyway, you're done and you can enjoy the benefits of the little Pixies for several weeks!
You can carefully pour the stones in your bowl back into the original jar with the help of a paper funnel. That way, you will be able to use them for additional decorations, and not a single Pixie will go to waste! :)
What kind of nail decorations can Pixie crystal rhinestones be used for?
Pixie crystal rhinestones can be used as additional decorations for almost any nail decoration, but we recommend using them primarily for gel varnish, gel artificial nails and porcelain artificial nails.
Of course, there is a way and possibility to use it for nail decoration with nail polish, but due to the long drying time, we recommend this only to those who are willing to wait up to 1 hour for their nail polish to dry.
Also, when choosing a nail polish surface, take into account that after 2-3 days your nail decoration may no longer be as durable as if you had worked with gel polish or artificial nails.
